“cru” formally known as CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST:
Cru is an interdenominational Christian organization that promotes evangelism and discipleship in more than 190 countries around the world. In 1996, USA TODAY called Campus Crusade the largest evangelical organization in the United States. Today, the organization employs over 25,000 full-time missionaries and has trained 225,000 volunteers around the world.
THE MISSION:
Cru exists to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning students to Christ, building students up in there faith and sending students out in the power of the Holy Spirit.
THE PROBLEM:
There is tremendous competition for the minds and hearts of students. How they are influenced in college will most likely affect them for the rest of their lives. Check out this video of our staff interviewing students on the ASU campus and hear their view of God:
THE SOLUTION:
In the face of these competitive forces, God is bringing an increasing number of students into a relationship with Himself. We are trusting God to reach the 110 million college students of the world with the message of Christ. Each student. Every campus.
